In the ISO 9001:2008 Foundation Course the participants will learn the purpose of a QMS, the intent of the ISO 9000 series of standards, the requirements of ISO 9001 as well as see the relationship between the clauses of ISO 9001.
By the end of the ISO 9001:2008 Internal Auditor Course the participants will know the responsibilities of an Internal Auditor and how to plan and conduct an internal QMS audit. They will know the benefits of implementing a QMS, the purpose and structure of ISO 9001 and how it contributes to improving business effectiveness.
The QMS Auditor/Lead Auditor Course gives participants the purpose, structure and content of ISO 9001 and how it contributes to improving business effectiveness. They will also understand the responsibilities of a Lead Auditor, and learn how to plan and conduct a QMS audit, and then report with impact to management.
A Quality Management Representative is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the company's quality system, liasing with the third-party standards bodies and reporting on the overall effectiveness of the system to their management. The Quality Management Representative Course conducted by DNV is an intensive two-day course which provides essential tools for the Management Representatives attending the course to succeed in supporting their organisation. It is also important for the seasoned QMR to sharpen their existing skills. This course would be extremely valuable for those entrusted to help their organizations achieve certification.
ISO/TS 29001:2007 was developed to meet the needs of the oil and gas industry, specifically the major petroleum, petrochemical, and natural gas organizations, as well as, government and regulatory agencies, as the basis for qualification of the quality management systems of equipment manufacturers and service suppliers. Potential end users include organizations that involve exploration, production, pipelines, transportation and refining of petroleum and natural gass products. This course would also be useful for those involved with design, manufacture, installation, service and repair of equipments related. Those who provide technical, operational and support services to the various industry sectors identified would also benefit.
The IMS training courses teaches the fundamentals of management systems integration; especially those based on the ISO 9001 (Quality Management System standard), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System standard and OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health, and Safety Assessment Series) of international standards. It also highlights the use of PAS 99 (Publicly Available Specification) issued by BSI.
